2026 SBC 5K Peace Run was a success! (photo gallery)
On Saturday, August 22, Olivet AME Church and Sunnyside Presbyterian Church co-hosted the annual South Bend Coalition (SBC) 5K Peace Run, Walk, or Stroll in the Northeast Neighborhood. It was an opportunity to bring together religious, social, and cultural differences to promote wellness and peace in all forms, and to give back to the community, while raising funds for Heroes Camp. Heroes Camp is a place where youth play basketball, lift weights, receive mentoring, shoes, clothing, deodorant, haircuts, and hot meals. Below is a photo gallery that captures the joy of the day. The 2027 SBC 5K Peace Run is scheduled for Saturday, August 28.
